In this site I exhibit my photographs , mainly in 6x6 format, in the form of blog.

I used to exhibit my photos at a personal, handmade website. Considering my style of taking photos in these days, however, I realized that posting photos in the blog format would fit better rather than exhibiting photos by making galleries under specific themes. It takes time to accumulate photos in order to complete a theme. Meanwhile, you can't see anything new in my site. I got to feel that I would like to share my photos with you as they just come up. I can still create a complete gallery when I feel I am done. Another benefit of a blog is that I can seemlessly post articles in which I write my thoughts and findings about photography.

The name "Foto 66" was taken from my current preference of using the 6x6 format more often than before, and also intended to show homage to German craftsmanship of making such great cameras and lenses (mainly Rolleiflex and Carl Zeiss, of course). So, I am going to exhibit photos taken in the 6x6 format. However, I will also post those in the 35mm format or even those taken by digital cameras when the time comes.
