Mississippi River 1
I take photos of Mississippi River with a hope that I complete a photo book of it some day. Since it would take a long time (I even don't know whether I can finish), I decided to show you some photos as they come out. This time, let me show two photos that represent a summer of Minnesota.
Fireworks at "Taste of Minnesota" in downtown St. Paul. The picture was taken from the Smith Avenue bridge (F11, 10 sec.). The downtown is seen far left, and the ToM site is on the right side of the river. The exposure is barely OK, but it would have been better to shoot from a little right to the current location. (I didn't know where the fireworks would be launched in advance. So it was pretty challenging.)
Dusk over downtown Minneapolis, taken from the Franklin Avenue bridge after the sunset (around 9pm; F16, 20 sec.). You can see bright lines of lights across the center of photo. Those are traces of headlights of cars running on Interstate 94. I really love beautiful sunsets in Minnesota.
