At the Northern Edge
The Keweenaw Peninsula is a small peninsula, which is located at the northern edge of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and projected into Lake Superior. The area prospered from copper mining in the 19th century, but now logging and tourism are its main industries. I travelled the peninsula in September seeking for fall colors. What I saw there were trees, sands, water, and winds all free of impurity. I just kept shooting at things that captured my eyes, feeling like they were washing off my heart.
