August Skies
I made some trial shots with SL66 + Distagon 50mm F4. The lens was awesome - clarity, sharpness, contrast, and color rendition, everything was of highest quality. One weakness that I would mention is bokeh (out-of-focus effect), which sometimes looked "noisy" (this is often the case with retro-focus type lenses). Having been shown these photos, I may well be inclined to obtain other lenses for SL66. This time, I used two different kinds of film (Velvia 100 and Provia 100F, both of which made by Fuji) to take the same pictures. It turned out that Velvia tended to be yellow while Provia produced more magenta images, and the difference was substantial at a look. Sometimes the magenta color of Provia didn't look very great to me, so I personally prefer Velvia.
